Donation Recipients
Below is a partial list of the organizations to whom we will be donating 25% of all sales. This list will grow as we find worthy organizations. If you know of any, please let us know. The Wounded Warrior Project was founded on the principle that veterans are our nation's greatest citizens. The WWP seeks to assist those men and women of our armed forces who have been severely injured during the conflicts in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other locations around the world. Many of the injuries are traumatic amputations, gunshot wounds, burns and blast injuries that will retire these brave warriors from military service.Filling a Vital Need
The Fisher House program is a unique private-public partnership that supports America's military in their time of need. The program recognizes the special sacrifices of our men and women in uniform and the hardships of military service by meeting a humanitarian need beyond that normally provided by the Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs. Because members of the military and their families are stationed worldwide and must often travel great distances for specialized medical care, Fisher House Foundation donates "comfort homes," built on the grounds of major military and VA medical centers. These homes enable family members to be close to a loved one at the most stressful times - during the hospitalization for an unexpected illness, disease, or injury.
The Proud Warrior program to provide support to Security Force Airmen who are critically-injured in combat, aids Airmen who are medically-evacuated to Walter Reed Army Medical Center Washington DC. To date, these injuries have all involved amputations.
