We don't "Got Freedom" anymore...

Dear Friends of Thank A Soldier,

Thank you for your past patronage.

We regret to inform you that we will no longer be able to offer our line of "Got Freedom?" t-shirts and sweat shirts. We were recently informed that the phrase, "Got Freedom" has been Trademarked and is the legal property of Eagle Crest, Inc. and we have been ordered to "cease and desist" any further sales of this proprietary property unless other arrangements are made in regard to "licensing" of the phrase with the owner or face legal action for infringement. We have chosen to stop production of "Got Freedom?" items at this time.

Although a Trademark on a phrase that relates to Freedom may not seem "right" or "fair", we must respect the laws of our land. And, as trademarking is a legal activity, we must also acknowledge that our loved ones serving in the military serve to protect these rights too, in addition to protecting our personal rights and freedoms as is guaranteed by the U. S. Constitution.
