Dedication
There are many ways to say "Thank You” to the servicemen and women of our country. Unfortunately, it isn't said often enough. The purpose of this web site is to do just that . . . . to say "Thank You". Repeatedly our military and their families are overlooked in our desensitized and presumptive society. Whatever the issue, cause or case, they are serving to protect our nation, it's borders and ultimately us and our way of life; some, paying the ultimate price to sustain our freedom. Our servicemen also fight and sacrifice to promote freedom and democracy in other countries where people are ravaged with oppression, atrocities or who are just too weak or too ignorant to fight back. Whatever your political position or affiliation may be, acknowledging this service and sacrifice is paramount. .jpg) This web site is dedicated to my father-in-law, Major Franklin D.R. Kestner Sr., U.S. Army Retired, and his “band of brothers”, the “Chosin Few”; men who bravely fought in the battle of the Chosin Reservoir in November and December of 1950 during the Korean Conflict, the “forgotten war”. Below are a few links with more information about the battle of the Chosin Reservoir and the Chosin Few.
